This Resolution is a two year extension of the ETJ annexation consideration area required by statute. This resolution is adopted every two years and relates back to the adoption date of the previous resolution. This procedural step allows the town the opportunity to conduct involuntary annexations in the future in a shorter time frame without delaying the effective date by a year.
